**Establishment:**

The College was established in 2015 under the name of the Medical Colleges (Medical Technology - Human Medicine). Due to the restructuring of Al-Zaytuna University by the Ministry of Higher Education through Decision No. 617 of 2016 regarding the renaming and creation of new colleges at Al-Zaytuna University, the College of Medical Technology was separated from the College of Human Medicine, thus becoming an independent college within the faculties of Al-Zaytuna University.

**Vision:**

The scientific vision of the College of Medical Technology lies in preparing, educating, and training students theoretically and practically to enhance the level of efficiency in medical services and graduate specialized professionals to work in various fields of medical technology. The college aims to collaborate with a number of other relevant colleges to benefit from their expertise.

**Mission:**

The noble mission that the college has upheld since its establishment in 2015/2016 is to develop specialized medical technology professionals according to internationally recognized academic standards who possess the ability to compete at the local and regional levels, through a comprehensive scientific and training program. We strive to be pioneers in these specialized fields and to support the health services sector with skilled technicians who possess exceptional competencies and skills, in order to ensure patient safety and serve the community.

**Goals:**

**First, Educational Goals:**

- To prepare and equip graduating students with clinical experiences that enable them to perform their recognized medical duties accurately.

- To prepare the college for academic accreditation (programmatic and institutional).

- To continuously evaluate the quality of academic and clinical studies to ensure distinguished educational outcomes.

- To encourage continuous development and provide a safe learning environment while adhering to professional ethics.

**Second, Research Goals:**

- The medical and clinical research at the college aims to improve the health status of patients by providing optimal medical services and healthcare.

- The importance of scientific research in the college lies in how to enhance the health sector in the region by clarifying the role of medical scientific research in community development.

- To assess the current state of the medical and health sector in the municipality, and to propose integrated mechanisms that would elevate the level of medical services in the area.

- To encourage faculty members and students to innovate in medical research.
